Keylandmark, a joint venture company between Leeds based Landmark Development Projects and Keyland Development, has announced the sale of the final two office buildings at Turnberry Park at Gildersome in Leeds.
A public service organisation has agreed to purchase Brabazon House at 28,350 sq ft and Sunningdale House at 12,245 sq ft which totals some 40,500 sq ft of office accommodation. The sale marks the completion and full occupation of the development at Turnberry Park which covers 8.5 acres and is located directly adjacent to the M621.
The other two buildings, Ailsa House and Wentworth House, within the development are also fully occupied. Ailsa House was pre-let to West Yorkshire Magistrates Court and the West Yorkshire Trading Standards Office in 2004 and subsequently sold to Insight Investment, a part of the Clerical Medical Property Fund. While Wentworth House was sold to Simon Brooke & Partners Ltd, an independent insurance broker, in 2005.
Internal fit out will begin in summer 2009 and when the company takes full occupation in 2010 there will be more than 500 people employed on the entire site.
Richard Morton, Director at Landmark Development Projects comments: "We are delighted that this deal marks the successful completion of Turnberry Park. All the offices within the scheme are of extremely high quality and benefit from higher than average car parking ratio. These along with its excellent location next to junction 27 of M62 and doorstep retail and leisure facilities at Birstall Retail Park make it an excellent choice for occupiers."
The agents for Keylandmark were Carter & Co and GVA Grimleys. |
